GD4: ISO 17025 Certified For AS6081 & AS6171
GD4 Test Services, Inc. (“GD4”) is proud to announce our Largo, Florida lab has attained its ISO 17025 certification for lab testing to AS6081 and AS6171. As a result, this accreditation now allows for both our Austin and Largo facilities to test for a multitude of services.
AS6171 is the standard for which test labs identify suspect counterfeit parts. It provides uniform requirements and test methods making it more rigorous than AS6081.
In order to test for AS6171, test labs must be ISO 17025 certified to this industry standard. Unfortunately, for many other test labs, they are not. However, both of GD4’s test labs (Austin, Texas and Largo, Florida) are! This further proves our commitment to providing quality service and testing to our customers locally and worldwide. Eventually, we will have all three of our test labs certified ISO 17025. The third test lab is in Yaphank, New York. We will keep you apprised of our progress.
